Dr. Yong Junina Fadzil
Consultant Paediatrician & Paediatric Cardiologist
Dr. Yong Junina Fadzil is an NSR-registered Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Cardiologist with over 35 years of medical experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research. She has served as Consultant Paediatrician at Klinik Pakar Kanak-Kanak Junina, Visiting Consultant at WQ Park Kelana Jaya, and Honorary Lecturer at Cyberjaya University. Her expertise includes paediatric and foetal cardiology, child development, and preventive paediatrics.
She has published extensively on congenital heart disease, neonatal outcomes, thalassaemia, and child nutrition, with several award-winning studies, including the Young Investigator Award (2002). Dr. Yong Junina is a long-standing member of the IMFED expert panel and has spoken at numerous national and international conferences.
Beyond academia, she is a passionate advocate for child health education, contributing to parenting magazines, radio and TV programmes, and public campaigns. Her innovative approaches include therapeutic applications such as Lego Serious Play, reflecting her commitment to holistic child wellbeing.
Sayed Mawismi Bin Sayed Mohamad Mustar

With a background in Social Work, Psychology and Disability Studies, Sayed has been a practitioner for almost 18 years, dealing with individuals who needs protection and rehabilitation in institutionalized and community-based settings. With a profound fascination with rehabilitation services for youths aged 14 to 21, he has been handling individual and family intervention through community integration, rehabilitation programs, and also in policy making. He is currently integrating interdisciplinary knowledge of Adolescence Psychology, Criminology and Disability Studies on child-related research and field work, especially for youths with cognitive and intellectual impairments through prevention, protection, rehabilitation, development and integration. He has been invited as Expert Panel locally and internationally. At the same time, he is also entrusted to deliver talks and plenary sessions that focus on the issues related to proper justifiable and effectual programs related to those within divergent neurodevelopmental groups and people with disabilities for the past 18 years.
Assoc. Prof. Dr Haliza Hasan
Kulliyyah of Nursing,
International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)
Assoc. Prof. Dr Haliza Hasan is a senior academic at the Kulliyyah of Nursing, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), with 21 years of dedicated service. Her niche areas include women’s health, community health nursing, special needs populations, and health economics. She serves as the Head of the Special Needs Community Well-being, Training and Research Centre (SINAR) at PLANETIIUM, leading initiatives that integrate research, training, and community empowerment.
Dr Haliza has secured national and international research grants as both Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator, with publications focusing on special needs care, women’s health, and community health development. She has organised international seminars, publications, and community engagement programmes involving undergraduate and postgraduate students.
She was the Secretary of Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti, Kompleks Penyayang Kuantan (2015–2023) and continues serving as a committee member (2023–2026). She is also an active member and former committee member (2019–2023) of the Malaysian Nurses Association (MNA).
