The Sarawak International Dyslexia Conference 2026 (SIDLDC 2026) invites abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations in the areas of dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
We welcome submissions from healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, postgraduate students, NGO representatives, policymakers, and academics from both government and private sectors who are engaged in research, practice, or community service.
Abstracts must align with the conference theme:
“Unlocking Potential, Embracing Inclusion.”
Submissions should be based on original research, applied studies, innovative practices, or evidence-based interventions.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the official conference programme book and/or proceedings.
Abstracts that have been previously presented and have received an award at a national or international conference are not eligible for submission.
Previously published studies may be submitted, provided that the abstract is substantially revised and appropriately paraphrased, including changes to the title and content.
Word limit: Maximum 250 words (excluding title, author details, and keywords)

Sentence case (do not use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS)
Tables, graphs, charts, and images are not permitted
Abstracts must be structured using the following headings:
Introduction
Objective(s)
Methods
Results
Conclusion
Include no more than five (5) keywords relevant to the submission.
The title must be in bold, concise, and specific.
Capitalize the first letter of each main word in the title.
Avoid abbreviations in the title.
All abbreviations used in the abstract must be written in full at first mention.
Include full author name(s) and affiliated institution(s).
The presenting author’s name must be underlined.
Ethics approval information must be provided where applicable.
All research involving Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia personnel, facilities, or funding must be registered with the National Medical Research Registry (NMRR).
All abstracts must be submitted by 30 April 2026. EXTENDED TO: 15 JULY 2026
Late submissions will not be considered.
